Women, as you know, are complex animals, haunted with problems real and imaginary. Especially Mister Mari's Girls, a diverse group of Women in Trouble who come to millionaire Mari for help and advice. But exactly who Mister Mari is or how he got to know these women or even why he's helping them is never explained. Nope, he just stays in his apartment, usually sitting on a throne-like chair, hovering over the proceedings like some strange sexploitation deity. Among Mister Mari's girls is Gloria who 'loves her husband but loves gambling even more.' She owes downtown mobster (and New York nudie vet) SAM STEWART a thousand bucks but can't pay, so he turns her into his uptown ho: 'Quit your sniveling, baby!' Mari, however, gives her the money to pay Stewart off....
